The best song came on. I drove around Tacoma at six in the morning to survey the extent of a late December snow in the area. The roads were slushy at most but after seeing the massive flakes falling about 4am this same morning my concern was justified. But, with few cars on the roads and the fleeting sight of white stuff fading as the skies cleared and temperatures rose in a town only just waking up, the best song came on. Radiohead's No Surprises. Perfect.
