Locals were invited last night to the Hilltop Artists hot shop for an open house to experience their facility and program and also to watch Lance help create the piece he won from a previous Frost Park chalk off. The shop at Jason Lee Middle School was plenty on the hot with outside temps topping in the 80s. It had no impact on how much fun it was to see some kids from the area working on pieces big and small and admiring all their art on display and for sale in their gallery. The care and support this program takes in exposing youth to an amazing, and visceral, art form is really a thing of beauty. Huge kudos to everyone that works so hard to support this.
Here are some pics from the night. Enjoy!
