Photos ~ Momofuku Milk Bar and Leaving NYC

My last day in New York was a pretty relaxed one. I did some web stuff over breakfast, picked up a sandwich to take with me on my flight, and I even set out on a little adventure! My co-worker Mandi jokingly requested a cookie from a place that was pretty far off my path to the airport. But I felt up for the challenge of finding the Momofuku Milk Bar and the elusive Compost Cookie! I studied my subway maps and was able to go straight there, pick up a few (one for me, one for Stowe, and one for Mandi) then continue towards the airport. Even discovered that the "L" train route is amazing! New train, really easy to follow digital map on the wall, smooth ride, and great pre-recorded verbal path finding. Though I'm pretty comfortable in the NY subway I sure hope, for other outsiders' sake, they continue to upgrade in this direction.

The flight home afforded some beautiful views of Manhattan Island and me plenty of comfort with an entire row on the plane to myself. But, as always, it's good to be home.
