Between D20 Brass Band and 8-Bit, we've been waiting 6+ years for this. It was awesome....
Sat in on a studio session for my co-worker's band This Shirt Is Pants this afternoon and snapped some shots of the action for them. They recorded at Pacific Studios downtown and got off to a pretty solid start. Setup took a while but the guys running the show seemed properly methodical and got a pretty good mix out of it. The band, though I only got to hear a couple times through in the studio, had a pretty solid sound with some good musical ideas going around. Can't wait to hear the demo they get out of today.
Consequently, if you want to support a budding rock group from here in town you can catch them Tuesday, January 23 at Studio 7 in Seattle and, a little closer to home at Hell's Kitchen on February 9th. Check out their website for times and more info.
