Photos ~ 2007 Showcase Tacoma

This year Showcase Tacoma scaled back the physical size a bit but still had plenty to offer. There was art all over and music in the air. As with last year, there was chalk art being created on the sidewalks, glass being blown, and acts being performed. The stage and setup for music and dance in the Plaza was great and made for a good setting. I saw tons of friendly faces and talked to people I did and didn't know. I would've liked to see more people out enjoying the event but, even in its second year, turnout wasn't too shabby. I've heard promises of more density of artists and vendors next year which will be good and maybe a bigger music act or two would help draw folks in from other nearby areas.

Thanks to Metro Parks and all the sponsors for a fun weekend outside in our beautiful City and I'm looking forward to next year.
