Tacoma Armory gallery at City Hall

Photographs from the August photo safari through Tacoma's National Guard Armory are on display now at City Hall. The tour led people and their cameras through the 100 year old structure that proved a worthy subject. You can see selections from all the photographers at an exhibit hosted by the City of Tacoma in their 12th floor hallway gallery at the Municipal Building [ map ]. Stop by to see the show during normal business hours (8-5pm, M-F) or 'til 7pm on Tuesday due to City Council meetings. The exhibit will be on the walls into and possibly through December.

Also for anyone who likes snapping photos with any kind of camera the Tacoma Photo Gang is quiet no more. Many of our members* have been busy the last month but we're getting back together this Sunday for a trek to the Nisqually Wildlife Preserve. There's more info about the location, breakfast, and carpooling on the Tacoma Flickr group. If you'd like to come along just chime in. All are welcome!
