'Urban Cowboy' in Tacoma

If you're hankering for a rootin', tootin' good time you might want to grab tickets to see Urban Cowboy: The Musical at the Pantages. From the press release:

The score features a wide range of toe-tappin' country-western hits, including songs from the original film such as "Lookin' for Love In All the Wrong Places," "Could I Have This Dance?" and "The Devil Went Down to Georgia." Modern classics by contemporary artists like Travis Tritt, Clint Black, Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks, Charlie Daniels, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, and Brooks and Dunn, as well as original compositions, complete the musical line-up.

I might even like something like this, despite the genre of music. Hey toe-tappin' music is toe-tappin' music. Too bad McCabe's isn't closer to the Pantages else they might grab some spillover line dancers after the performance.
