Extensive silence...
I want to apologize for my extensive web silence. I returned from YMA late Friday night. The camp went well with probably the best choir performance in my four years there. One of the highlights of this year was a song that I arranged for a blues band. The YMA Blues Band (as I called it) performed the world premiere of the Male Pattern Baldness Blues. I took the form of the Jane Feather tune How Blue Can You Get? and rewrote the lyrics. I got a band together that consisted of two trumpets, an alto and bari sax, five back-up singers, a bass, a guitar, drums and a piano. It went off really well. I couldn't have done it without any of them.
Other than that, I'm now home and back in the groove of life.
