Two weeks and counting

It is truly crazy to think that two weeks from now I'll be in Melbourne, FL getting nervous on the eve of the student presentations. I started on the road there today. Not literally. I put together a rough outline for my presentation to take a look at exactly what I can say about our less than stellar astronomical observation run. It's a good way for me to get the ball rolling on this whole process. It has really ensured me that most of the information that will be included in the talk, poster, and paper will be nearly identical. The poster will be especially fun because I have a chance to use a large plotter to print it out on. Normally used for geographic and geologic maps the plotter will allow me to create the poster in Photoshop, letting me shuffle its elements around at will.

This must be an end of the summer lull or something 'cause I have no more to report. Aside from a quick journey out to the mall and briefly playing a computer game, I've been sitting around here watching cable and playing around with pictures for a website. Not at all dissappointing because I'm sure my spare time is going to get thin, oh, I'd say starting next week.
