Feliz Aņo Nuevo

So. It's here. Anyway...

Okay, I'll recognize that today is the first day of the rollover year that is 2000. Today's eve was a great time that I got to spend with my girlfriend Sarah and our friends Kristin and Nick. They all converged upon my house here in La Center for the big party. Actually, there was no party and they didn't all simply cruise in. Poor Sarah had quite a travel ordeal really. She was scheduled to leave Medford's airport at 11:30 in the morning. Unfortunately fog and icy conditions cancelled her potential flights to Portland. She finally boarded a plane and arrived in Portland nearly 5 hours after she originally intended to be here. Nevertheless, she made it safe and sound and completed the guest list for that party I mentioned. Yeah, so the party only had for guests (including me).

We spent the evening playing Worms on my computer and watching various network's coverage of New Year's. When the New Year struck in our time zone we had our kisses, drank some sparkling cider, and shot off a little cap-gun outside. It was really great especially considering that Sarah, Kristin and I are heading abroad — Kristin and I to Hawaii for January and Sarah to Lancaster, England until April. It will be great for us all to get away and see a bit more of Earth but it will be easy, at the same time, to miss one another.

Which makes this my last website entry until the end of the month. I promise many entries will magically show up here when I get back so you can read up on my experience in Hawaii. Goodbye to you and whomever else I should say goodbye to but that doesn't read my website. Have a great month and I'll be in touch when I get back. I love you all!
