Productivity? Nah...
Admidst the flutter and fury of getting this paper typed, two vans headed off either to the hour distant Punaluu black sand beach or to the 2.5 hour distant Kona, HI. I went to neither just for sanity sake. Although I've only typed a little on my paper I don't want to delay the process any further by going to some sunny beach. Plus, I have no driving urge to set my tan before we leave tomorrow. I'm a honky and I know it.
I did work on my paper while here. Brook, Brooke, and I only allowed for distractions that would help bloodflow to the brain. This included playground time, walks the firehouse, or hikes to the Volcano Art Gallery. All in all, by the end of the day I had written about 6 or more pages worth of my paper.
This evening some (myself included) attempted to be productive but most (myself included) failed miserably. Once dinner was done nary a paragraph was written on my paper before I gave in to my heightened energy level. It was a fun last evening though. Everyone around seemed to be in really good spirits about everything. Tomorrows travels present great opportunity in which to finish up the paper. What better way to kill a three hour layover in Honolulu? I'm sure not going to the beach!
