Ramblings from a late night
It's a shame that I'm up this late but I guess it's just something that happens when I have nothing better to do. The thought of having to get up early in the morning to adhere to some kind of schedule really makes me appreciate the fact that this weekend I don't have to. My lack of plans for this weekend woke me up late this morning, lazily got me into the shower, slowly took me to lunch, and finally made me go to work. I haven't been particularly tired today but I have really been laid back as far as my plans go. After work I ate a good pizza dinner with Matt and Nick at Tuscany's right by school on Garfield Street then came back here, worked on an MP3 player skin, and watched Major League with my roommate, Matt Agee, Jenny, and Don. And now I'm here. Matt's asleep, all's quiet, and my body taunts me with its strange alertness. Guess Sarah would be proud to hear how much of a night owl I am. Funny part of that is she knows I can stay up late with the best of 'em then catch worms with the flocks of those proverbial early birds.
Wow, strange places the mind takes us late at night. Nevertheless, I'm happy to say that life's spiffy and I'm ready to greet the latter (and hopefully sunny) half of today with a smile and a hand full of quarters 'cause man do I need to do laundry!
