Epitaph for an Aerobee
SNAP/SLAP! "Be careful 'cause it's Aerobee catching behavior like that which breaks them! You don't want to be grouped in the same catagory as my friend Bobby after he broke my Aerobee senior year of high school, do you?" That's pretty much what I said to my lovely girlfriend Sarah this afternoon when a terrible thing happened. That "snap/slap" sound I heard came after she threw her arms shut perpendicular to my Aerobee. Upon the object's flight to me after a brief layover with Kristin, I saw the destruction first hand. Sure enough, the prized, flourescent yellow object which I have had the pleasure of sharing many a throw and near losses was damaged irrepairably. The injury: a fracture along its spine. Diagnosis: hopeless. I leave you now with some pictures of the gruesom event which happened just moments ago (parental discretion is advised).
The assailant.
The victim.
The injury.
