Good times to come

Taskless artwork #1 - conceived at work, drawn on a Palmtop      Taskless artwork #2 - conceived at work, drawn on a Palmtop

Good morning to everyone out there. I'm sitting here in the basement of the PLU library waiting for work to begin. Today is my fourth day on the job and tasks for us to complete are few and far between. So far this morning I've gone out on two service calls that came in here and both were already solved by the time we got there. So the time spent killing time continutues for me and my new job. In this lull I'm attempting to learn what I can from the various articles and/or people around. There's plenty to learn and no easy or obvious place to start.

Today or tomorrow may turn out to be a fantastic day because yesterday I confirmed that my digital camera is repaired and on its way home to me! Having the capability to take hundreds of pictures at a time without the concern of the developing of conventional film is fantastic and is something I've missed. Last night, Gavin and I wandered around the PLU campus just for the sake of taking pictures. It was a sort of preparation for me to return to a lifestyle of taking ample quantities of photos without a care in the world. Cross your fingers for me, folks. Let's hope this time it works for good.
