Sleepy day
It's a little bit early for me to be typing an entry for today but I'm sure this'll be a short one. I'm tired. Really tired. Once the show was over last night we all deboarded Aaron's boat and walked a couple miles back to where our car was parked. We got stuck in the tail end of Fourth vehicular congestion and were misguided by a rent-a-traffic-cop into a direction opposite our goal. After gassing up and meeting Aaron at my house, four vehicles headed north back to Parkland. Not afraid to drive at a reasonable, if not slow, pace, I stayed back with Aaron and his VW Bus while Sarah and Nick pushed ahead in their respective rides. No one got home until somewhere around 2:30am this morning but I know everyone's head probably hit their pillows at about 2:31am.
I should still be in bed. Lo, I find myself at work, typing this entry and waiting for the day's tasks to begin. I'll sleep well tonight if not sooner.
Oh, and for all those of you keeping score, today is the beginning of the 20th month of my relationship with Sarah. That's right folks. We've been together a solid 19 months now and I'm proud to say that there's not a day of that time that I wanted to be with anybody else.
