My modeling career

Various tasks in the new dorm on PLU's campus kept my co-workers and I busy until it was time for the day to end and for us to punch out. After some dishwashing and edible consuming with Sarah before she went to class I sat down at my computer to work on the following model:

Shoulder-mounted, Unripened Apple Launcher (© Kevin A. Freitas)

It may look strange to you but it's my creation. My friend and I have been spending time the last two nights creating wire-frame meshes of objects. I'm mainly doing it to add to my experience with this sort of modeling and Matt's doing it so he can get away from the hours of coding that turn his brain to nacho cheese. The above object (still in its early stages) is a shoulder-mounted unripened apple launcher. From a wooden barrel (not yet modeled) sitting atop the shoulder-mount, the rock-hard apples roll down into the barrel of the gun and are propelled out the end at bullet speeds. Yes, stay tuned for more screen shots and prices on this one-of-a-kind product. Hurry, because supplies are limited and are going fast!
