Events

New this morning is my job. My boss answered questions I had and provided me with other information that I could use to get started in my old boss's position. Overall, my day was spent learning things that I could use to be effective in this job. The onslaught of website requests has yet to pour in but I'll be ready for it. Having my own desk is definitely a new thing for me — nothing that a picture or two and a potted plant can't solve.

I ate a full-box serving of a bowl of macaroni and cheese at a pace which is far faster than my norm. With some residual soreness in my muscles and a tight stomach I sit here typing of the weekend just past. It's hard to believe that little old me has climbed Mt. St. Helens 4 times in the short 20 years since it let lose a disfiguring and hellish torrent of Earth. From one event to another, I'm always thankful for my life and the people with whom I share it. They all come together as a series of bookmarks in my mind that constantly piece together the story of my life.
