Delivering music
Today it all came together. And by "it" I mean the plans I've had for a few weeks now about a gift I gave Sarah for our 2nd Anniversary. The magical date of the 5th is still a few days away but the situation under which I purchased the piano urged me to deliver it today. So with some help from Justin, Aaron, and Gavin we surprised Sarah with her musical gift.
Around noon we all gathered on PLU's lower campus where I purchased the gift. It was a heavy gift that (fortunately) we had only to lift up into the truck and out from it at Sarah's house. Without any strain we loaded into Kristin's truck, on loan to me for this occasion. While I stumbled with the strange gears and clutch in her car, we drove up to a PLU parking lot across the street from their house. Sarah was scheduled to leave for work today at around noon so we could flawlessly install the piano in her house without her even knowing it. Instead, she skipped out on work, prompting me to do something drastic: make her close her eyes only to reveal her gift in that parking lot while it sat in the bed of a pickup truck.
Once I told Sarah she could open her eyes, she let out a strange, denial-like reaction which told me of her approval. After that bit of shock wore off the guys and I went ahead and installed it in their house. It fits like a charm in their house too. I'm very thankful to the people who helped make this happen for a girl that has music swirling inside her all day, every day.

Happy 2nd Anniversary Sarah. You deserve it.

Wow, this is a beautiful piano. I have a similar (black) one since four years. A piano is not only a wonderful music instrument, it is also a revaluation for every room.
