Twice 'round the Sun
After about 1.12 billion miles, Sarah and I are starting our third trip around the Sun. As of about 1am PST this morning we hit the 6.3 million second mark in our relationship and the trip has been a fast and fulfilling one. We have many more good times than bad under our collective belt since we began our journey back in the 20th Century. I don't have much to say that I didn't say in my post the other day. It's just important for me to emphasize to Sarah that my world is a great one in part because I get to share it with her. We lean on one another, help whenever we can, give affection whenever we want, and push through the day after day of everyday life.
The nineties seem like a date far in the past but ring very recent in my mind. It's amazing for someone's love toward me to stretch such a great time and distance. It's strange to think that for about six months of our time together we were 3,000 or more miles apart, proving to be a true stamp of approval in our favor. We tried over that time to stay as close in words as we normally would in body. The internet has certainly been our ally as well because it draws us together whether she's at her house down the street doing homework or whether she's hanging out in her cement room in England.
I feel at ease with her in every way. And that's why, after the distances and time we've traveled together, she's my number every step of the way.
Happy 2nd Anniversary Sarah! We've got some serious mileage behind us and I can't wait to keep adding more.
