A new drive home
Sarah and I concluded our work weeks tonight with a smooth drive to my parents' house in La Center, WA. After last week's outing to the mountains for some night skiing and snowboarding this will be the second (of surely many) trips taken in my new Subaru. Although some traffic slowed us down just south of Tacoma the rest of our trip flowed well. Jake the guard cat greeted us on the B.F. Acres porch as did my mom and dad. This was the first time they saw my new wheels and I think they approved. How could anyone not approve of such a sexy beast of a automobile (which also came out rather well in crash test results just released).
To most people I've described owning and driving my new car as "relaxing." The price paid, the safe ride, and the sassy exterior are only a few of the many details that make my Impreza a calming experience. No worries follow me when I take to the streets because I can be sure that my investment will get me from point A to point B.
