Transactions and Atomic Operations

Just a brief note on my work at work: when you're browsing through online documentation for a system you manage and use, you know you're in deep when you read a section titled Transactions and Atomic Operations Although I'm a web developer at heart I'm becoming more and more of a programmer every day. It's snuck up on me like a cruel friend coming from behind and I'm not sure how my life will change if I'm ever to be considered a "programmer". More »
