What's a normal word for blog?
It's "journal".
My journal is back up and humming. I have yet to recover old entries but will be migrating them all to a database system (rather than flat text files) that will be backed up regularly.

Going for a ride
After some wrangling and angling Matt and I will be heading out on June 20th to Mojave, CA to spectate at the first private manned space launch.

Interesting... Is this something that we can see ourselves? Or is it closed to the public? I would love to be able to see it. I'm sure that it pales in comparison to the standing stones of Scotland or the Rosetta Stone displayed in London, but it would be fasinating to see with my own eyes.

It's just fascinating stuff. I'm really hopeful that the city of Bonney Lake or a local tribe will step up to preserve this. The stones I saw in Scotland were incredibly interesting and seemed to be spread out everywhere. I can understand why most of those wouldn't be preserved due to their numbers but this is a treasure unlike anything else in the Northwest. It's huge too at about 12' long and over 4' high. The markings are probably better than anything we saw in Scotland.
I guess it is accessible but a recent article I found said it's surrounded by a fence. I suppose that's better than nothing.
