Fear is not a factor in my dreams

Damn those TV execs/producers/writers -- oh, wait. Writers aren't needed anymore. That's right, the Reality TV (should "reality" be capitolized, does it deserve that importance?) craze has made it into my head. Before waking up this morning I ran through nearly 3/4 of a episode of fear factor with me as a participant. I don't recall the first stunt because I was likely to far from waking up to remember it. The second was in front of a live studio audience of family and friends where the stunt was to eat something like caviar and this egg-sized black sacks that contained bees or something. I guess I did pretty well since I made it to the next round which took place in some historic, fictional European city where there was some large, circular walk in town with stairs(!) on which we had an endurance foot race without the availability of water. This may not sound like a challenge to some but, for me, running long distances is one of the worst things I could ever be forced to do (see: middle school track team and the short sprinting events I took part in). I came in first running over 10 miles and making it to the final challenge...

...which I didn't get to before my alarm went off. I use that as an excuse because I really don't think the creativity of my mind could compare to the Double Dare-like adult challenges that the monkeys at NBC come up with each week. Oh, well. At least tonight, in my head, I proved that fear is not a factor.

Hey, maybe the technology Futurama predicted is already here -- commercials and shows are being beamed directly into my head! I need to find a good conspiracy forum and further my paranoia.
