Direct to DVD hits
After a late start after a late evening of LAN games at Matt's I drove home and enjoyed a brief portion of the Seafair festival showcase Blue Angels flying ballet show. From West Seattle and for a bit of my drive south on I-5 I saw a few formations cruise by in impressive fashion. More »

Children's litter-ature with today's letters 'B' and 'K'
"B" is for the bug I caught somewhere between the bead store and becoming a night owl at our LAN party this weekend. Staying up until 3am isn't as easy as it used to "B". More »

DSL farts
Since about 9pm last night our DSL service has been down but is now, since you're reading this page, up. I was beating myself up a bit by taking way too much responsibility for said down time as I combed through PC and router settings alike. More »

A lazy Friday afternoon
I took the afternoon off today as a part of my summer holiday vacation time given to me by PLU each year. I made a nice lunch and watched an episode of Enterprise on my computer when my nose noticed something that wasn't quite right. More »

A quote from a May 31, 2004 Washington Post ad about how negative the Bush campaign has been:
"Three-quarters of the ads aired by Bush's campaign have been attacks on Kerry. Bush so far has aired 49,050 negative ads in the top 100 markets, or 75 percent of his advertising. More »

Required RealPlayer update
A gripe I just sent to the folks over at Real:

Tacoma Link accident and other moments of clairvoyance
There was a slight bit of traffic in downtown Tacoma this morning due to what I discovered to be a train-car accident at the intersection of 21st and Pacific Ave. It didn't look serious (as you can see in the shot I snapped below) but I took it rather seriously because it was my fault. More »

John Kerry in Tacoma
