WWWWD? (What Would Wil Wheaton Do?)
While reading one of my favorite insider Mozilla browser blogs I linked over to something that I found personally fascinating. Wil Wheaton, ex-Star Trek: The Next Generation cast member, has a blog. I wandered around his site reading a bit of his entries and looking at some of the pictures he's taken on one occasion or another. What caught my attention the most is that the guy is really just living a seemingly normal life. He's definitely geeky and lets it show but is happily married and isn't ashamed of letting his readers know it. I guess, to me, he'll always be that plucky young ensign challenging those grown-up's stereotype that the youth of today (or the 24th century for that matter) are capable of more than their given credit for. But, strangely, I'm really happy for him since he really seems to enjoy his relatively out of the spotlight life in such a genuine fashion that he's willing to bear all through his photos and writing online.
For the curious and obsessed, Wil Wheaton's blog can be found at http://www.wilwheaton.net.
Also worth noting: Scroll down a bit on his page and look to the left side. Mr. Wheaton's site also sports a graphic not unlike the one at the bottom of my page that reads "www.[graphic of my head].net". The stamp on my graphic shows I created it Oct. 19, 2003. Guess I subliminally copied him since his is dated Mar. 9, 2003. Strange Great minds...
