I voted. Did you?

I hit the polls (ow!) this morning about 7:10am and was greeted by a full parking lot and a line of voters ahead of me. Isn't democracy great? Although I don't remember precisely it seems that more warm bodies were present this morning than I remember four years ago. There is a certain electricity out in America-land today and no matter how it shakes out, this is how democracy is supposed to take place - one vital vote at a time.

Tonight I'm sticking around the office with my home PC to do a cleanse-n-burn on the hard drive and OS. My computer is running about half speed of late and I can't stand it any longer! My kingdom for a viable option besides Microsoft! Lo, I'll cave and simply reinstall XP but will constantly be on the lookout for a Linux-like OS with gaming capabilities. Who knows, if Matt has his influence on me we'll be gaming on the next generation of console and leaving our desktops to do the boring stuff. Nevertheless, tonight's computer maintenance will help me avoid the sensational U.S. medias election night coverage until they have some real numbers and hopefully their facts straight. Here's to a decisive winner, whoever he/she may be. ;)
