Floating in it
The last few days/weeks Sarah and I have noticed a bit of water collecting in the basement. This isn't really anything abnormal since our landlord prepped us on this before we moved in a couple years ago (the availability of palettes to set things on down there also kinda' gave it away). More »

Phileas Fogg gigging inside a Flying Lion
After work today Sarah and I headed out on the freeway to meet Matt and Kelly in West Seattle to hear Bobby play with his band Phileas Fogg. A rain storm piped in from Hawaii dumped buckets of rain and made for a fun drive up and back. More »

Volumes of new software out there help computers rid their systems (the computer's, that is) of malware, spyware, spam, and viruses. Well, my friends, the time has come to do the same with the constant deluge of business reply mail received by us everyday. More »

Crapdamncrap: Trinity!
Yeah, so last night I was tooling around with my machine to install a shiny new video card (which didn't work) and broke the rest of my computer. The hard drive didn't seem to like something I did (a pox on thee, Western Digital) and it refuses to start up normally. More »

Holiday karaoke and other plans
Yeah, so a co-worker of mine sent an email with a large attachment that I assumed to be some preview version of the PLU Choir of the West's recent Christmas CD recording session. Maybe I just wasn't keen on any sarcasm present in the message text but I honesly thought this was a serious recording. More »

Post-Xmas Xbox modding
Since buying Sarah and Xbox for Xmas she's been excited to purchase a chip that allows us to modify the system to do far more than just play Xbox titles. Today we woke up early to head over to Aaron and Robyn's place in Southeast Portland where Aaron would graciously help us install the mod chip to unlock the system's capabilities. More »

Not too much excitement flying around today except that I was able to meet with the musician for our wedding and make some phone calls to other vendors. We've hired Pamela Jordan and her regular guitar partner Steve to be the musicians that will glue the wedding events together. More »
