Happy [bloody] New Year!
Sarah and I woke up rather late today after just barely making it to midnight last night (man, we are getting old). We had big plans for last night to stay in a eat 'til we couldn't eat anymore. More »

Sea-Tac sitting and waiting
We just made it through check-in and security at Sea-Tac and are just waiting at our gate to fly to Dallas then on to San Jose, Costa Rica. It's a really rainy morning in the Puget Sound but it only hampered our drive up here (a la Sherry) a few minutes. More »

We woke up at a decent time this morning and had a wonderful breakfast at our hotel. I ordered a bowl of fruit (not all of which I could identify), Sarah went for some corn flakes with strawberries, and we shared a plate of thick toast triangles. More »

It's easy to take a place like Lapa Rios for granted especially since it's in such a beautiful part of the world you'd assume would be just crawling with tourists. Well, until you've experienced the tour we did today you don't know the meaning of the word "tourist". More »
