A fresh, new KevinFreitas.net

Last night I launched a new face at the front of KevinFreitas.net. After incorporating some comments and making a sketch on a post-it, we've arrived at this. There's a ton of stuff on my website! I've been writing journal entries since this time of year in 1998, there's currently over 1,200 photos up, and other bits and pieces that have been collecting since then. Well, this new homepage is my attempt to bring more of that forward and possibly entertain you along the way.

The big canary yellow box at top is the latest journal entry. If your web surfing with Firefox (if not, try it out) there's a faint sample image from the entry added for some texture/visual interest. You can still navigate the archived entries with the calendar above or get a beat on the more recent entries in the lower left box. The middle box down there are the most recent set of comments to come in. Click on any one of them to be taken to that comment in its original context. On the right is a random smattering of photos each of which can be clicked on for your A.D.H.D enjoyment. Every time you come to this page a new set will appear.

So, that's it for now. Let me know what you think because, as you might know, the web isn't a static beast and I can change (the website, that is). Hope you like it!

I already like this much better. And the random picture display that changes every time you reload can be rather addicting. I forgot you had so many embarrasing pictures of me here!

Kinda' cool that the count of images I've attached to journal entries now sits at 1234! That doesn't happen very often. Let's go buy some lottery tickets!
