Photos ~ Holiday housewarming party
After the Evites went out Sarah and I began prepping the house for guests. We took most of the previous weekend and weeknights to check off a few relatively minor projects and tidy the place up. Today was the reason. Beginning this morning with Sarah's mom and sister, mosts of our friends and neighbors came by in the afternoon. It was great to show folks our humble home and get tips on paint colors for interior walls. Sounds like we'll be having a painting party soon! We enjoyed mingling as much as we could for being hosts and had fun eating some of our own food. Sarah did a fantastic job making some dishes and I made my now standard ham/cream cheese/pickle things. We did well not to make too much food so were left with mostly desserts as leftovers -- that and a ton of drinks. Thanks to everyone for stopping by -- we had a great time and hope you did too!

quite funny that there are more photos of food than people...i'm betting you were hungry when you posted this entry! Sorry we couldn't be there, but then we didn't get an Evite, so i guess we weren't wanted...KIDDING! Get to work on that teleporter and we'll be at the next one!

Actually, I was hungry during the party and forgot to eat most of what I photographed. Such is the life of a party host.

Kevin,
I wanted to let you know that your photos of the new Narrows Bridge at night have been getting rave reviews. I work for the electrical supply company that has supplied all of those lights. I found your pics on a Google search and passed them to my co-workers. My manager passed them along to the executives at the RAB lighting company and their vice-president liked it a lot as well.
I live in University Place and am familiar with the progress of the bridge, whereas, my managr and our suppliers only see it in the paper.
Thought you’d like to know.
Thanks and nice job!
