Photos ~ Office bowling holiday party

After a suggestion at last week's staff meeting our company decided to have a holiday party at the local Chalet Bowl lanes. We hit the place in the middle of the day today and were treated great by the staff upon arrival. We practically had the place to ourselves so we snagged a couple lanes, the lights dimmed, colorful lights flashed on and off (party-style), and we hurled balls at pins. Everyone did pretty well both games but our newest employee Andrew (who'd never bowled a game in his life, mind you) won the first game! I was doing pretty well but couldn't manage to pick up a spare in the first game. They call me the Spareless Wonder! Second game was better with a few spares and a couple strikes to my name. Happily, I finished over 100 in both and wasn't last in either -- not that it mattered. We had a great time of it before returing to the office and finishing up our day. Thanks to boss Brian for the outing and happy holidays to the folks at Chalet Bowl -- they run a tight and smoke-free ship! Most everyone I was with was impressed that they thought it was the nicest bowling alley they'd ever been to. Kudos and, especially after 64 years in business, keep up the fine work.

That is a first class bowling experience! You should warn your co-worker Sarah that bowling while pregnant gives the unborn baby a propensity to become a professional bowler with a mullet...just thought she should be warned! Happy Christmas and have a lovely Hogmanay (as they say here) to SiteCraft!
