Waking up with a woman in bed
At some blurry hour in the middle of the night, Sarah called to tell me she was on the ground in Seattle. Unfortunately my brain wasn't awake enough to figure out it was the phone and didn't answer it until well after she'd hung up. Sarah returned from a business trip sometime around 1am this morning. She did her best to use the nearby bathroom to set her stuff down and get ready for bed. Although I only woke up slightly I remember he climbing into bed and nestling up by my side. Once I finally stopped hitting the "snooze" button this morning I realized how happy I was to wake up with her by my side instead of a snorty, fuzzball Colby (no offense). She'll probably be seriously beat today as will I but there's things to do. I'm heading back to do follow-up web training since my last visit for the folks out at Northwest Trek and Sarah will surely have plenty to do at work since she always manages to come back from business trips with more work than she left with. I'm glad to have her home and look forward to going to sleep and waking up with her tonight.
