Lazy New Years day

After yesterday's snowshoeing and gaming Sarah and I woke up at our friend Kelly's this morning. It was a planned sleep over designed to keep us off the roads after the bars closed last night. Better to wake up alive than dead. After I splashed the sleepiness off my face we were all treated to a filling pancake breakfast. It was then time to pack up our things and head back to Tacoma. The rest of the day was pretty lax. We did pretty much nothing until heading across town to our friends' who just had a baby. I offered to come snap some photos of their newly expanded family and today's the day they accepted. Their baby Meleah is a real cutie and is in good health along with the rest of the fam. My favorite thing about digital photo shooting has to be the instant gratification. I transferred what I'd taken onto their computer and ran a slideshow of everything right off the camera. We got the shots we wanted and now they have copies that can be email across the country or printed and framed.

Anyway, Happy New Year! I won't be making any resolutions since last year's "go to more concerts" one failed miserably. I guess getting married, buying a house, changing jobs, and doing home improvement projects will do that to a guy. ;)
