Photos ~ The bamboo groweth
"Holy growth horomones, Batman!" Our bamboo is so far doing well and a couple shoots are taking off. One shoot in particular is doing its part to reach full height so much so that I notice a different from one day to the next. I've been snapping photos of this shoot the last few days so I can compare it from day to day. Here's what it's done so far:
Pretty impressive, huh? I'll keep this up and put together more comparisons sometime later. For now, we'll keep our eyes peeled for more shoots from some of the other plants. Feel free to send any bamboo growth vibes you can spare our way. ;)

Photos ~ Watching Steve fly
My buddy Steve (of the Fergusons) has taken to the skies lately with his electric R.C. planes. Although I don't fly myself it's great to head out with him to watch and snag some photos. I joined Steve twice this week as he flew around a school field and a great park up the road from my house just tonight. He does really well keeping the slow stick electric plane he flies in control and has a good attitude about it when he lands hard or even crashes. I've been trying to get he and my other buddy Gavin in the same room sometime because I have no doubt they'll talk one another ears off about their shared hobby. My role in all this: picture and/or video taker. I'm a willing by-stander that is always looking for something new to take pictures of. So, appropriately, here's a few from this week.

Nice Slow Stick. I have seen a few of these. Was that a brushless outrunner I saw on the front? I bet it really scoots with an outrunner and some lipos. I'll have to bring my fleet up and we can have a mini airshow some time sooon.
