Parade of Homes passes through this weekend
Starting this weekend the Pierce County Parade of Homes will be showing off the kind of dwellings this area has to offer. Houses and condos across the area will be open for visitors and I'm sure folks will be on hand to peddle their wares. Although more of a reverse parade (where the entertainment stays put and the spectators do all the moving) viewing the properties is free. For us Tacoma folks it could be a great opportunity to peek into the various condo projects in town. It may also be a great opportunity for us pro-Tacoma folks to add to our "Why Tacoma?" ammunition. I can think of a couple friends and family we'd certainly love to convince to come live in T-town. Also, if you can't make it this weekend it's also running on the 10th and 11th.
Along with the Tacoma condos I also plan to pay a visit to at least one of SoundBuilt Homes' communities mainly because I've worked with them on a web project at work (and, no, it wasn't their main website -- that stinks). It'll be interesting after doing web work for them and getting to know their company to actually pay a visit to one of their products.
