New Tacoma Opera website

I don't write about every launch my company does but, hey, this one applies to the local arts scene. Tacoma Opera is now online with a new website. The design (by Rusty George) is simple but is a vastly more solid and more sophistocated look than their previous site. We programmed up the content management side so the folks in Tacoma Opera's office can keep the entire site fresh without coming back to us for help. The site has easy access to the basics (tickets, about us, shows) and some nice, high quality show posters to enjoy. Seems like they have a great season ahead of them and, if you're interested, it looks like non-subscription tickets go on sale after Sept. 15.

I love those rusty george/sitecrafting hybrid sites. Even so, when are you sitecrafting guys going to help the rusty george folks build a non-flash site that isn't completely invisible to search engines?

Not a big fan of full-flash sites myself. There's is very tasteful as far as flash sites go but you're exactly right about accessibility. They know who to call if/when they want it done.
