Breakfast at PSP

Suddenly, as I type this, my pathetic morning piece of toast just seems inadequate. We tried out Puget Sound Pizza (PSP) for breakfast on Sunday and found out that second "P" in their name stands for more than just pizza. With all the new space to stretch out in stopping by after 10am wasn't didn't present a problem with crowds and we were seated right away. On the menu are plenty of down-home favorites like chicken fried steak, a half dozen omelets, a hobo scramble and even a mimosa to start your day off right.

At our table, we snagged omelets for two of us and some scrambled eggs for one. Everything came out great. I tried the "Packwood" which is a good sized three egg omelet filled with sausage, bacon, red onion and topped with cheddar cheese. The tastes are simple but great and sided well with some seasoned baby reds and pile of toast. A nice, filling-but-not-too-filling breakfast for $7? No complaints here.

They even had a woman tending bar and a couple guys stopped by for a morning Bloody Mary to de-/retox from St. Patrick's the day before.

So lend a little weekend morning life downtown and give PSP a try for breakfast. Don't forget that around the corner Winfield's will soon be open for breakfast as well. Any other spots downtown already open for weekend breakfasts? Give your props or take your shots in the comments below.

There's also a recent review on TacomaKids, and a really old one from last April on my site, for what it's worth...PSP breakfast is suddenly the TOAST of the town (get it?)

On the very first shot at the site i do take it as a gaming article but This is realted to pizzas. This really makes me laugh. Your Puget sound Pizza defination for PSP is really great.

Haha, yea. This place in Tacoma, WA has the same initials as the gaming system. Better breakfast and pizza tho... ;)
