Photos ~ 2007 Jr. Daffodil Parade
This year's Junior Daffodil Parade made for some fun photos and a great morning. Brisk temperatures and a breeze were a welcome change from the weather at last year's parade. Tons of cute kids all decked out in daffodils or daffodil yellow were the order of the morning. I met up with Steve, Angela, and their niece Amaya. It was fun seeing this kind of event through a kids eyes.
Some highlights: A great kid rock cover band Squish warmed up the crowd before the parade. Some marching violin players. Those kooky dad's doing stroller routines were back. The unicyclist kids are always fun to watch. And a pirate.
Don't forget -- next week is the big parade downtown followed by the Tacoma Jazz & Blues Festival.
