Tacoma Photo Gang - From the Back Alleys
Last Saturday the Tacoma Photo Gang got out a bit downtown. We shot up some of the back alleys around 9th Street and actually had mostly decent weather for once! We took off from Blackwater down 9th and started out in the area around Court A. From there most made their way to Fireman's Park then over near Old City Hall. Anyone left had fun walking up the Spanish Steps astride the Elk's building the on up through the ever charming Opera Alley and toward the current City Hall building. Just near there we all enjoyed seeing the brick remnants of an old triangle building now pocket park (a.k.a. smoke break for city worker area) just across from the Vintage Y condos.
I'm pretty happy with my shots but I've done better. You be the judge but I'm not so sure these are gallery worthy.
Talk is that Saturday, May 5 some of the gang will be at the roller derby bout and that our outing for next month may take us beyond the Tacoma city limits.
