Nick-n-Willy's pizza coming to Proctor

Nick-n-Willy's coming to ProctorA new take-n-bake pizza place is coming to Proctor. Nick-n-Willy's will be filling the former Subway space just off the corner of 26th and Proctor. We had a discussion here on KFnet in late March about what to do with that space and only Mike H mentioned anything about pizza. Good guess Mike and great suggestion. Though, if anything, I was hoping for a place to stop in and get a bite rather than have to take it home to cook it all anti-social like. Strange thing is that their sign and some parts of their website point to take-n-bake, a sentence on their homepage that reads "Our pizza is always hot, always fresh, and always a great value!" kinda' confuses me. I guess their implying that since you cook it at home it's always hot and fresh but, to me, that easily sounds like promoting the fact that they make it hot and fresh. Might want a little clarification on your site there.

Anyway, enough nit-picking and hyphen-ating. So, what do you say -- good fit for the spot?

Sail boats and Brown's Point

Stunning day out there. Little warm for my taste but I guess I won't be picky. After a busy day at work we got a call/invite from Angela and Steve. They had a table on the deck at Katie Downs and we happily joined them. Let me tell you, Tacoma loves them some waterfront and today that was abundantly clear. Schuster Parkway was backed up past the Navy boats as everyone searched for something cool to do near the water.

Food was good and the conversation was better. As was watching the dance that was people searching for a table to sit at. What a beautiful place we live in. Take a second to think about the wonderful geography we're blessed with here and let family and friends not from around here know -- if for nothing else just to make them jealous. ;)
