Laura Hanan's bio in Who's Who
Laura Hanan is to be included in the 2007 and 2008 (27th and 28th editions) of Marquis' Who's Who In American Art. The merit-based Who's Who... publications have been around since the turn of the 20th Century. A 2005 New York Times article refers to the publication as an "authoritative tool and valid portrait of [American] society" (via Wikipedia).
Seeing her work on the Brick & Mortar Gallery website says it all. Though I have yet to meet her in person I could still easily see her nominated under other Who's Who... titles for her similarly admirable work trying to clean up the streets of Tacoma near where she lives.
Congratulations Laura and we're glad to have artists of your caliber here in Tacoma!

Laura is a good example of a local artist doing well selling her art.
Thanks for all of your tireless work in the Theater District. Your actions have caused more arrests than any other citizen in Tacoma that I know of. It is a better place by far because of your efforts.
