Nick-n-Willy's pizza opening Sept. 22
The new sit down and/or take out pizza place in the heart of Proctor is opening September 22nd. Nick-n-Willy's will be open that Saturday in the space just off 26th and Proctor that was formerly occupied by Subway. The Nick-n-Willy's chain offer gourmet pizzas fired in a brick oven and will likely make a nice balance between the more up-scale offerings elsewhere in Proctor.
You can stop by and welcome them to the neighborhood Saturday, 9/22 between 11am and 9pm.

Party for Mr. Jones
Mr. Jones of Jones Glass, a well-know salvage yard and shop here in Tacoma, is retiring. A party is being thrown for him next month.

Though I've never made use of his services I may have to stop by sometime to see the Cavalry Museum. Sounds fascinating. Anyone out there ever stop by his place for custom glass cutting or recycled materials? Do tell.
