Market Street to get new lines?

It may not sound like much but keeping Tacoma roads well marked is important. There are hand painted markings along Market Street near 19th. They're along the side of the road and look like they'll border the on-street parking. Given the nearly 4-land width of Market in this area it'll be nice to have clear definitely on what's lane and what's parking.

Court AI can think of at least two other spots in dire need of a paint job. First is an easy refresh of the yellow line running down Court A near the Brown & Haley outlet just off 26th headed toward the I-5 on-ramp. The strip is so badly faded that often when I'm leaving work headed toward downtown cars that have revved their engine to race onto the freeway tear straight up the middle of the road thinking the entire thing is all theirs. With cars parked along the side it can look a bit skinny and it's easy to assume, especially if you don't know the are as many visitors to Dome events likely don't, that it's only one lane. Still, I'd enjoy not having to play chicken with on-coming traffic exciting as it may be.

25th StreetThe other spot that could use a dab of fresh paint is 25th off Pacific heading up the hill toward Jefferson. Is it one lane or two?! Seriously, it's easily side enough for two lanes and sometimes, myself included, it's used that way. Like Market, if the edges are for parking let's label as such 'cause left to our own devices, any place without parked cars is a lane if it's wide enough.

Know of any areas that could use some similar paint-on TLC? Feel free to let it all out here or email the City.
