Tacoma Photo Gang - Foggy in Nisqually
Though it wasn't raining so I won't complain. Actually, after a foggy early morning breakfast meet-up at Norma's just off I-5 the weather gradually cleared for us. After food the Tacoma Photo Gang paid for our $3 per car fee at the neighboring Nisqually Wildlife Refuge and wandered the trails for a couple hours. There was some decent fall foliage out along with some fun depth play with the white, bright fog. It was great chatting with everyone and I even ran into a KFnet and FeedTacoma friend out there while out with his wife and cute little colorful hat-headed daughter. A couple huge old barns enjoyed our attention as did a large flock of Canada geese that were repeatedly riled up by a couple of bald eagles nesting nearby.
Glad to get back together with the gang after a month break and hopefully we'll be getting together soon for a Beans & Seens meet-up to keep the photographic sharing rolling. Felt great to get back with the gang again! Links to others' shots from the day once their up.
