Photos ~ "Dipper" Sculpture Installation (step 1)

Hotel Murano is taking shape. The large iron frame is now in place and awaits being filled with blue glass. Already it looks stunning. The scale is impressive and the curve of the Costas Varotsos piece really works well and accentuates the form of the Murano building itself. Though I haven't been a huge fan of the building itself I must say this sculpture already makes it look better. It'll be great to see it once everything's installed and likely lit up at night. More updates to come as installation continues.

By the way, nice shots of the art Kevin.

Having been by there, it is a difficult one to get the whole thing in the picture without standing 1/4 mile away.
