Photos ~ A Perfect Night for Baseball

Finally had a chance to get to a Rainiers game this season and did so on perhaps the perfect night for it. Frinklin of No Rhubarb! came with an graciously put up with all kinds of n00b baseball and team-related questions. We had great seats along the third baseline and just barely had the Sun at our backs as it slid lower into the clear evening sky. The Moon slowly rose just above the south end of the structure and, with it nearly full, looked like an additional bulb lighting our game. Along the concourse and in the tunnels leading into the stadium the wind whipped but all was calm in the stands so shorts and a t-shirt were plenty to stay comfortable 'til games end at about 10pm.

We lost after a promising start but who the hell cares? Hanging out with with a buddy, watching a game, and eating crap is plenty to make a good night for me.
