A slew of other invited local bloggers and I mingled among plenty of pretty people last night at the new Tacoma Mall Nordstrom opening gala. The event was setup to benefit the Tacoma Art Museum and Museum of Glass as well as kick off the new 138,000 square foot retail space with a bang. More »

Saturday in the 'Couve With Family, Friends, and Beer
I got a slow-ish start this morning to head down town Vancouver but was happy I took the time to rain-x my windshield. I don't mind the rain at all but it can certainly make a couple hour drive more stressful when you can't see two cars ahead of you. More »

Photos ~ An Issaquah Evening
The plan tonight was to head to Fry's then meet up with a friend for dinner in Issaquah. I didn't really allow for enough time between work and my evening to get to Fry's (shouldn't spend more money there anyway) but I got to greater metropolitan Issaquah a little early. More »

I procrastinated and prepped all day but round about 6pm I finished up the last of it and headed to the show. Frost Park artists converged on Herban Cafe about that time and took in walls of work from everyone. More »

My Video Game Told Me To Vote Obama
And I'm OK with that. With all the major video game systems currently connected to the 'net I've read (and am not surprised) that some download and update ads in the background. More »

Photos ~ Frost Park Chalk Off #30
The season has drawn to a stunning close today at Frost Park with chalkers braving the rain and vying for this season's champion. Despite the soggy sog it was a great day out there and my hat's off to all the artists for their contributions through 30 episodes and to everyone who enjoys in person and online. More »
