A slew of other invited local bloggers and I mingled among plenty of pretty people last night at the new Tacoma Mall Nordstrom opening gala. The event was setup to benefit the Tacoma Art Museum and Museum of Glass as well as kick off the new 138,000 square foot retail space with a bang. More »

I got a slow-ish start this morning to head down town Vancouver but was happy I took the time to rain-x my windshield. I don't mind the rain at all but it can certainly make a couple hour drive more stressful when you can't see two cars ahead of you. More »

The plan tonight was to head to Fry's then meet up with a friend for dinner in Issaquah. I didn't really allow for enough time between work and my evening to get to Fry's (shouldn't spend more money there anyway) but I got to greater metropolitan Issaquah a little early. More »

The season has drawn to a stunning close today at Frost Park with chalkers braving the rain and vying for this season's champion.
