Film takes loving look at Mt. Rainier
It's right in our backyard, we see it all the time and take for granted how far into nature we can get in an hours drive. It's Mt. Rainier and it's national park and a new film shows it off in a style worthy to be hung on gallery walls. The News Tribune has an article today about Below the Clouds: Rainier Impressions and I'm excited to enjoy the coffee-table book like journey around Mt. Rainier. Considering the beating the park took from all the recent rain and flooding, it might be nice to see some of its beauty in the film to inspire some of us to get out and help re-build trails and otherwise volunteer.
Not into small theater houses like the Grand or Blue Mouse? You can watch this one at home since it airs on KCTS channel 9 at 10pm Thursday, Nov. 16.
