Better sleep through windows

The last few nights I've been dreaming about this or that and have really enjoyed it. I can honestly say that it's been some time since I remember dreaming at all. I believe it has something to do with the quiet the insulation in our new windows provide. Although I certainly slept before this last week it must not have been as deep. I'm sure every passing car, though there aren't many, kept me from my REM sleep. At our former rental our bedroom was in the back of the house away from the street and buffered by the rest of the house, a garden, and a garage. I don't think I slept entirely well there but I can certainly tell a difference here now. I prefer waking up groggy in the morning because my alarm interrupted a dream rather than just feeling groggy because I didn't get enough or as good of rest. The former is far easier to snap out of than the latter. Anyway, yay for windows!

In other [unrelated] news, I've almost worked at my new job now for a month. The cogs are greased and I'm cruising into my second full project after just having launched my first yesterday. We're changing up our office location a the end of the month which will be a good move and I'll be taking a couple days off next week to hit the Big Apple with Sarah, Gavin and Holly. I've also had some fun playing with the new camera and will be sure to have more photos from it posted soon. Hopefully I'll have some time this weekend to putt around somewhere photogenic to really give it a go.

Hope all is well with everyone that reads up here. Cheers!
