Concert band and "Hear ye, hear ye. KevinFreitas.net open for business. Inquire within."

Getting back into the groove after about a year-and-a-half absence from playing trumpet has left my fingers weak for typing this entry and my lips feeling good but not great. Like an old hat that doesn't sit quite straight on my head the rehearsal that Sarah and I attended today was the PLU Concert Band conducted by, none other than, Raydell Bradley. The group shows good promise but more than that it'll be a good time. The trumpet section were mainly faces I didn't know with the exceptions lying somewhere in the hazy memory category. Nevertheless we held ourselves together nicely and seemed to enjoy getting back into the saddle - whether after a month or multiple years.

As an aside, I kinda' wanted to point out some features of my website that are tucked away from this main page. To my right we have the photo of the week. These are selections (generally seasonal) from my among my stack of over 20,000 pictures taken in digital form over the last more than three years.

Currently my lovely girlfriend Sarah and good friend Gavin are hunting for a new dwelling into which we may move in late May. If you want to see the places we're looking at visit the Housing section above. Heck, you might want to put in your two bits 'cause you'll have to visit us there!

And if you ever feel the urge to give me an e-piece of your mind, click my signature at the top-left. I might even write you back! At any rate, tell your friends, KevinFreitas.net is a wonderful fantasyland of wonder and fantasy and, above all else, fantastical wonderment.
